WThis is an easy take on a cocktail found on the seasonal cocktail list. This is a party-sized pre-mixed which is packed full of tastes of a Christmas time, rendering it ideal for a holiday party. Any leftover citrus syrup to use in morning drinks, desserts, or to mix additional servings of this cocktail.
Bikini Recipe
Serves 10 guests
To make the Clementine Cordial (yields 750ml)
300ml newly squeezed clementine juice
200ml fresh lemon juice
500g fine sugar
To make the Drink (makes 850ml, serving 10)
400ml premium vodka
100ml dry gin
150ml peach-flavored liqueur
200ml citrus syrup (from the recipe above)
A few cranberries, to garnish
Mandarin essential oil, to finish
Directions
To prepare the Cordial: Combine all the ingredients inside a saucepan, heat until it reaches a gentle boil, agitating until the sugar dissolves. Next, turn off the stove and let it to reach room temperature completely. Pour to a sealable bottle, seal and store in the refrigerator, where it will keep for around four weeks.
To make Batch Mix: Combine all the liquid ingredients into one large bottle, leave to sit for an hour, then strain preferably using a fine cloth, to ensure it's completely strained.
For serving: Pour 85ml of your batch mix into your stirring glass packed with ice, gently stirring carefully for about 60 seconds until cold. Filter into a frosted cocktail glass or equivalent, garnish with the cranberries adding the final touch using a quick spritz of the essential oil over the drink.
